Ace Your Interview

Our Hiring Process

We strive to be prompt and transparent throughout our recruiting process. Our whole recruiting process typically takes around 3 weeks - depending on the position you are applying for.

Submit your application

Whether you found us, or we have found you - our goal is to align your dream career with one of the opportunities at UNIZAP.

Be prepared to discuss the projects listed on your resume – It is helpful to review the job description before your interview to align your work exposure against the job specific requirement and responsibilities. So read your CV before you go. We recommend to highlight the key points you would like to share at every stage of your career, think of what you would like to speak about yourself and make sure you can move from one point to another in coherence.

Interview with Talent Acquisition

Ask us questions, as many you may have! This is a chance for you to get your queries answered. Our recruitment team will be on the lookout to assess your skills, experience and if you’re the one we are looking out!

Please be prepared to ask questions if you need clarifications – We want the interview process to be collaborative. If you are asked a question, however not given enough information to answer it, drill down to get the information you need. If that information is not available, focus on how would you attempt to solve the problem given the limited information you have. Ask thoughtful questions. Good questions are a great way to show interviewers how you think. They are sometimes even better than good answers. It shows that you have done your homework and you are equally interested in knowing how the job is being done by your future team. 2-3 good ones are enough, it is about quality not quantity.

Exploratory call

Your new teammates will want to know more about you on a personal and professional level so that we can take you to the next round if found matching the expected skills we are looking out.

Prepare solid examples to back up your points - When you are stating a fact about yourself or talking about skills, please back this up with real examples from your past experiences. Examples help the interviewer to understand exactly what you mean and ensure you are both on the same page. It also helps the interviewer remember you long after the interview is over.

Complete an assignment

Sometimes we need to see how you approach a challenge: a strategic plan, a coding problem or a creative content. Tech candidates will also be engaged in a super exciting live pair programming round with our tech experts.

Please reflect on what motivated you to pursue a career with UNIZAP - We want to hire smart, passionate people. We like people who do their homework.

Logical reasoning

This round is exclusively for tech hiring and will have a set of online aptitude questions that require a logical level of analysis to arrive at the correct solution.

Be yourself - Finally, just be yourself. Remember that hiring managers aren’t just looking for someone who can do the job but also someone fun to work with. Let your real personality come out, and if the real personality doesn’t fit with the team then it’s better for both sides to know in the first contacts than later on.

Get hired!

Welcome to the UNIZAP Family! Your recruiter will be there to conclude the process and introduce you to our onboarding teams who will take care of rest of your journey till your joining us.
